Nikol Pashinyan keeps receiving congratulatory messages

Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his election as Prime Minister of Armenia.

The message reads, in part, “On behalf of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

Wishing you every success in your high mission, I remain hopeful that the governments of the two countries will continue to cooperate with a view to developing our bilateral relations and strengthening the ties between our peoples.

I am convinced that the vote of confidence you have received from your compatriots will allow you to continue along the path of reforms in the best interests of the Armenian society and economy.”

Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

The message reads, in part: “I congratulate you on your appointment to the post of Prime Minister of Armenia following your victory in the parliamentary elections of December 9, 2018.

The political transition, which started last year with the formation of a new parliament, came to completion under peaceful conditions and in accordance with constitutional norms. The conduct and the results of the elections of December 9 demonstrated the Armenian people’s aspiration for democracy and prosperity.

The Council of Europe will work with the new government to achieve these goals. I am confident that the sustained commitment to democratic institutions and the rule of law that your country has demonstrated in recent years will continue to promote the prosperity of the citizens of Armenia.

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Charles Michel has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

“On the occasion of your election as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, I offer you my sincere congratulations and best wishes for success.

I have very fond memories of our bilateral meeting in Yerevan last October on the margins of the Francophonie Summit and I hope that our two countries will continue their excellent tradition of cooperation and dialogue.

Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his being appointed Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

The message reads, in part: “On behalf of the Government of the People’s Republic of China and on my own behalf, I offer you my sincere congratulations on your appointment to the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenia is a traditional partner of friendly cooperation for China. The dynamics of healthy and sustained development of Chinese-Armenian relations has been maintained in recent years. The mutual trust in political dialogue has been continuously strengthened. Significant results have been achieved in the implementation of the One Belt, One Way initiative.

Acting Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Valery Semerikov has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. The message reads, in part, “Please accept my warmest and most sincere congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia. The latest parliamentary elections’ outcome reaffirmed that people in Armenia are hopeful to build a better future for their country with your government’s deep democratic reforms and stand ready to participate in their implementation.
