28.06.2023

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the occasion of the decisive victory in the national elections of the Republic of Greece. The message states:

"On behalf of the government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I send you my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the decisive victory in the national elections of the Republic of Greece.

The victory of the political force led by you is the best assessment of the results of the long-term dedicated activity. I am sure that your upcoming term of office will again be distinguished by your typical vigorousness and determination to achieve the set goals.

Dear Mr. Mitsotakis,

I am sure that the excellent bilateral cooperation anchored on the centuries-old traditions of friendship of the Armenian and Greek peoples, as well as common values and approaches, will receive a new boost in the near future.

Taking the opportunity, let me once again thank you, the top leadership of the Republic of Greece, as well as the fraternal Greek people for standing by the side of the Armenian people and unconditionally supporting the Armenian people in difficult moments for our country.

Our similar approaches to issues in international relations lead us to develop the cooperation between the two countries more closely and comprehensively. Armenia is committed to expanding and deepening partnership with the Hellenic Republic on both bilateral and multilateral platforms. In this regard, we reaffirm our readiness to host the Greece-Cyprus-Armenia tripartite summit in Yerevan in the near future.

Honorable Mr. Prime Minister, taking this opportunity, I wish you good health and fruitful activity."
