Chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the fourth session of the Investment Committee took place.

At the meeting, the reports on the final technical and economic studies of the 4 public investment programs approved during the 1st session of the Public Investment Committee were first presented. The projects related to the improvement of the fire-rescue equipment of the rescue service, the modernization of the national observation network of the seismic protection service system, the equipping of 10 medical facilities in Armenia with modern medical equipment, furniture and accessories, the construction and further operation of a new penitentiary institution. Based on the reports, the projects were approved during the session.

Programs related to the strengthening of the capacity of the Rescue Service to respond to emergency situations, the construction of the Mastara reservoir and gravity irrigation system, the infrastructure for issuing biometric passports and electronic identity cards were also discussed at the meeting. A discussion was held around the presented projects, which related both to the implementation process of the projects, as well as to the expected results and efficiency.

Nikol Pashinyan instructed to summarize the issues and proposals presented during the discussion, to revise and finalize the draft programs based on them.
