Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a condolence cable to Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras. The message reads, in part:

“With deep sorrow, I learned of large-scale fires in the suburbs of Athens that have caused the death and injury of dozens of people, as well as huge destruction.

At this time of sorrow, I offer my deepest condolences and words of sympathy to you, the families of the deceased and the friendly people of Greece. I wish you all strength and fortitude to overcome the disaster’s consequences. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
