Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a message of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi on the occasion of the crash of a passenger train in the province of South Khorasan. The message says:

"Your Excellency,

I was saddened to learn about the crash of a passenger train near the city of Tabas in the South Khorasan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

I convey sincere condolences, words of sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims, wishing all the injured a speedy recovery."
