Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a message of condolence to the President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, in connection with the casualtiess caused by the rains that have been falling for days and landslides in the country's Emilia-Romagna province. The message states:

"Your Excellency,

I was deeply saddened to learn about dozens of victims, injured and thousands of people remaining homeless as a result of days of rains and landslides in the Italian province of Emilia-Romagna.

Sharing your grieve and of the friendly people of Italy at this difficult moment, I wish the injured speedy recovery, and endurance and spiritual strength to the relatives of the victims and the entire Italian people.

I am sure that thanks to the measures taken by the Italian government, it will be possible to quickly overcome the consequences of the disaster."
