Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a message of condolence to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in connection with the loss of lives in the accident in the Kostenko coal mine, Karaganda region. The message reads as follows,

"Dear Kassym-Jomart Tokayev,

It is with deep sadness that I learned about the accident that took place on October 28, 2023 at the the Kostenko coal mine, Karaganda region, resulting in the death of miners.

On behalf of the Armenian people and myself, I offer sincere condolences, sympathy and support to the families and relatives of the victims. I wish them patience, strength and endurance."
