Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent condolence messages to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Sayyed Ali Khamenei and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Massoud Pezeshkian on the death of innocent citizens as a result of the explosion at the Shahid Rajaee port in the city of Bandar Abbas.

The message addressed to the Spiritual Leader of Iran states:

“I express my deep condolences on the death of innocent citizens as a result of the explosion at the Shahid Rajaee port in the city of Bandar Abbas.

At this difficult moment, we extend our words of support and solidarity to you and the friendly people of Iran, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.”

The message addressed to the President of Iran states:

"I learned with deep sorrow about the terrible explosion that occurred at the Shahid Rajaee Port in the city of Bandar Abbas, which caused innocent victims and injuries.

On behalf of the people of the Republic of Armenia and on my own behalf, I extend my condolences and sympathy to you and the friendly people of Iran.

I express my support to the families and relatives of the victims at this difficult time, wishing the injured a speedy recovery."
