Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the State of Israel has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his election as Prime Minister of Armenia, wishing him every success in leading Armenia to greater growth and prosperity. Benjamin Netanyahu also offered congratulations to the Prime Minister and the people of Armenia on the Centennial of the First Republic of Armenia.
Noting that last year Armenia and Israel celebrated 25 years of diplomatic relations, Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that the solidarity between our countries is based on our peoples’ similar experiences and on the centuries-old Armenian presence in the Holy Land, particularly in Jerusalem.
“Israel stands ready to expand its cooperation with Armenia in a variety of important areas, including agriculture, energy, water management, infrastructure development and more. I look forward to working with you and your new government to advance an even stronger Israeli-Armenian partnership,” the Israeli Prime Minister said in his congratulatory message.
