Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Pedro Sánchez on assuming the post of Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain.

Nikol Pashinyan wished the tenure of Pedro Sanchez could be marked by sustained development and increased prosperity for the friendly people of Spain, as well as by Spain’s enhanced role in the international arena.

“The Armenians entertain warm feelings for Spain, and we are eager to give new breath and quality to Armenia-Spain interstate relations, which are based on deeply-rooted positive interactions and shared values, and deepen our cooperation within the EU frameworks. I am hopeful that through joint efforts we will open up a new chapter in our relations for the best interest of our peoples,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in his congratulatory message.
