Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev on his overwhelming victory in the presidential election in Kazakhstan. The congratulatory message reads, in part:

“Dear Kassym-Zhomart Kemelevich,

I congratulate you on your convincing victory in the presidential election held yesterday in Kazakhstan. The elections demonstrated Kazakh people’s high degree of confidence in your program of activities.

I wish you every success on the way to achieving the goals you have set in this important position for the sake of peace, progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Kazakhstan.

I am confident that through joint efforts we will be able to enhance and improve the relationships between our two peoples and countries. I am prepared to make the necessary efforts to build on the ongoing dialogue and cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats."
