Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad on Malaysia Independence Day. The message reads, in part:

“Excellency,

I cordially congratulate you and the friendly people of Malaysia on Malaysia’s national holiday - Independence Day.

I am convinced that through mutual efforts we will be able to give a new breath and dynamics to Armenian-Malaysian relations based on mutual trust and friendship.

I am hopeful that the accreditation of ambassadors in our countries will come as a strong impetus for the development and strengthening of interstate relations to the benefit of our twp peoples.

Taking the opportunity, I wish you good health and ever new achievements, as well as prosperity and progress - to the friendly people of Malaysia.”
