On Armenia’s Independence Day, PM Pashinyan receives congratulatory messages from Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, Li Keqiang and counterparts from other countries

On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received congratulatory messages from heads of foreign states and international organizations.

RF President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of Independence Day.
The message reads, in part:

“Dear Nikol Vovayevich,

I sincerely congratulate you on National Holiday - Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.

I am pleased to note the friendly, allied nature of Russian-Armenian relations. I am confident that through joint efforts we will be able to further strengthen the ongoing bilateral constructive cooperation in the political, trade-economic, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as to expand partnerships within the framework of the Eurasian integration processes. This is undoubtedly in the best interests of our fraternal peoples, and meets the objective of ensuring stability and security in the Caucasus region.

Dear Nikol Vovayevich,

I wish you good health and every success, as well as wellbeing and prosperity - to all the citizens of Armenia.”

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received congratulations from U.S. President Donald Trump on the occasion of Independence Day.
The message reads:

“Dear Mr. Prime Minister:

On behalf of the American people, I would like to congratulate you and the people of Armenia on the 28th anniversary of your national independence.

The United States welcomes the close cooperation between our nations and your government’s commitment to democratic and economic reform. We strongly support the desire of the Armenian people, as expressed during last year’s peaceful events throughout Armenia, to live in a democratic country that respects the rule of law and is free from corruption. We welcome your personal engagement in the OSCE Minsk Group process to find a peaceful and lasting settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day. The message runs as follows:

“Mr. Prime Minister,

On behalf of the Government and the people of the People’s Republic of China, as well as on my own behalf, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you, and on your behalf, to the friendly people of Armenia on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.
