Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis on the occasion of his country’s national holiday. The congratulatory message reads:

“I sincerely congratulate you and the friendly people of Lithuania on your national holiday - Independence Day.

Armenia is keen to maintain and build on the ongoing high-level political dialogue with Lithuania for the benefit of our countries.

We highly appreciate Lithuania’s continued support of the EU-Armenia partnership, and we are convinced that the establishment of direct air communication between Vilnius and Yerevan may open up great opportunities for the development of bilateral economic relations, tourism and people-to-people contacts.

I was glad to learn that you have accepted my invitation to visit the Republic of Armenia. We are looking forward to seeing you and Ms. Skvernelis in Yerevan, which will impart fresh impetus and a new quality to our friendly relations.”
