Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to the Kurdish community of Armenia on the occasion of Nowruz.

The message reads, in part:
“I cordially congratulate the Kurdish community of Armenia on Nowruz, the Kurdish New Year. I wish you peace, love and welfare.

I wish this spring holiday, which symbolizes life, could usher in new initiatives, progress and achievement for our citizens of Kurdish descent.

I likewise wish firm determination to the Kurdish community of Armenia in their effort to preserve their ethnic identity and cultural heritage, as well as in our common drive to shape a prosperous and democratic future together with the other citizens of Armenia.”
