Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Kjell Stefan Löfven on Sweden’s national holiday. The message reads, in part:

“I cordially congratulate you and the friendly people of Sweden on the National Day of the Kingdom of Sweden.

Armenia highly appreciates its friendly relations with Sweden and is interested in expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

We are thankful for Sweden’s continued support of democratic processes in Armenia, as well as for the assistance rendered in terms of promoting partnerships between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union.

We hope that the system of shared values based on the rule of law, human rights and mutual trust will pave the way for a more proactive and hectic bilateral agenda.”
