Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov on the country’s national holiday. The message reads:
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and on my own behalf, I congratulate you and the Government of Bulgaria and extend our best wishes on the national holiday of Bulgaria - Liberation Day. I wish your country progress and prosperity.
The centuries-old Armenian-Bulgarian relations have had many manifestations of friendship, based on historical and cultural affinities, shared values and mutual sympathy. This is at the heart of our interstate relations, which have acquired a new quality in recent years.
I am confident that the ongoing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two governments will further develop and strengthen, and through joint efforts we will be able to make tangible progress to the benefit of our friendly peoples.”
