Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia Anthony Albanese. The message says:

I cordially congratulate you on your assumption of the post of Prime Minister of Australia.

I highly appreciate the development and strengthening of the Armenian-Australian relations. The current high-level political dialogue between our countries inspires confidence for new perspectives of bilateral cooperation.

I am ready to work with Your Excellency to expand and deepen the cooperation between Armenia and Australia.

I am convinced that through joint efforts we will supplement the bilateral agenda with programs of mutual interest.
