I warmly congratulate you on the professional holiday, Armenian Press Day.

This holiday is meant to once again value and mark the role and weight of free speech in different layers of our society. The press and freedom of speech are among the most important institutions of democracy, and our Government is consistent in their development and will continue to do everything so that our country continues to walk along the path of democracy.

These days, when we are facing many challenges as a nation, the Armenian press has an important task on the way to overcoming them, because one of the key roles of the press is the formation of a stable society with healthy thinking, ensuring transparency in various fields and proper coverage of the reality. Freedom of the press is one of the most important values that we have in Armenia, and we must do everything to preserve and develop it.
