Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Romanian Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu on the occasion of the national holiday, Great Union Day. The message reads as follows,

"On behalf of the Government of Armenia and myself, I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the Great Union Day, the national holiday of Romania.

Noting with satisfaction the positive dynamics in the Armenian-Romanian relations, I am confident that by joint efforts we will contribute to the further development of Armenian-Romanian relations and the deepening of active dialogue in all areas of bilateral interest.

I highly appreciate Romania's role in the deployment and operation of the EU civilian monitoring mission in Armenia.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank for the humanitarian support provided by Romania to our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.

I wish you good health and success, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Romania."
