11.01.2024

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the newly appointed Prime Minister of France Gabriel Attal. The message reads as follows,

"I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as the Prime Minister of the French Republic, wishing you success in your high mission.

Citing the centuries-old Armenian-French friendship and unique relations, I am sure that during your term of office, our governments will interact with renewed vigor to further deepen the multi-sectoral cooperation between Armenia and France.

No doubt, the 2021-2026 Armenian-French economic cooperation roadmap is an effective tool to that end, and I hope we will use all available opportunities to ensure its successful implementation.

I would like to emphasize that Armenia highly appreciates the important and consistent efforts of France in the process of overcoming the geopolitical challenges faced by our country and establishing long-term peace and stability in the region.

I am deeply grateful for your constant attention to issues related to Armenia and your warm friendly attitude towards the Armenian people.

I will be glad to host you on an official visit in Armenia, which will give an important impetus to the existing commitment to expand our bilateral cooperation at the highest level.

Once again congratulating you on assuming the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of France and wishing you success in your initiatives, please accept, Mr. Prime Minister, the assurance of my higest consideration."
