Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Lacson on the occasion of the national holiday. The message reads as follows,

"On behalf of the Armenian government and myself, I warmly congratulate you on New Zealand's national holiday, Waitangi Day.

Armenia attaches importance to the development of friendly relations with New Zealand in various fields, and I express my willingness to deepen our interstate cooperation with you through joint efforts. I am sure that the dedication of our peoples and governments to democratic values is the best basis for expanding Armenia-New Zealand bilateral relations.

I wish the friendly people of New Zealand progress, peace and prosperity."
