Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Shigeru Ishiba on the occasion of his election as the Prime Minister of Japan. The message reads as follows,

"I warmly congratulate you on your election as the Prime Minister of Japan and wish you all the best in this responsible position.

Armenia highly values friendly relations with Japan based on democratic values and mutual trust. I reaffirm my willingness to expand bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of mutual interest and cordially invite you to visit Armenia in order to further strengthen bilateral relations.
