Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Federal Chancellor of Austria Christian Stocker on his assumption of office. The congratulatory message reads:

“I warmly congratulate you on assuming the office of Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria, wishing you success and fruitful work for the benefit of the Austrian people.

I am confident that under your able leadership, Austria will record new achievements, continuing its upward path of development and making an important contribution to international cooperation in this challenging period.

Armenia attaches great importance to the development of friendly relations with Austria, based on universal democratic values. We highly appreciate Austria’s support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia, the process of democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia, as well as the further deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership. I am confident that thanks to our joint efforts the political, economic, cultural, scientific and educational ties between Armenia and Austria will become more vibrant, filled with new content for the benefit of the prosperous future of our peoples.
