Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy Giorgia Meloni on the occasion of the national holiday, Republic Day. The message reads:

"I warmly congratulate you and the people of Italy on the occasion of the national holiday, Republic Day of Italy.

Italy is a friendly country and an important partner for us. Armenia has always attached special importance to the consistent development and deepening of friendly relations with Italy, based on democratic values, mutual interests and the sympathy between our peoples.

We attach great importance to cooperation with Italy on both bilateral and multilateral platforms, including cooperation within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership. I am confident that with joint efforts we will continue to record new achievements, raising the cooperation between Armenia and Italy to a qualitatively new level.

I sincerely hope that we will soon have the opportunity to meet and discuss in more detail issues of mutual interest.

I wish you, Mrs. Meloni, good health and new success, and peace, prosperity and happiness to the friendly people of Italy".
