Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day. The message reads:

“I warmly congratulate Ukraine on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day.

The relations between Armenia and Ukraine are based on the centuries-old friendship and mutual respect of our two peoples. Armenia is interested in developing mutually beneficial relations with Ukraine.

I am hopeful that peace will soon reign in Ukraine, and in conditions of stability, by joint steps we will be able to give new impetus to the further development of interstate relations between Armenia and Ukraine based on mutual respect, for the benefit of our peoples.

Taking this opportunity, I wish You, Your Excellency, good health and success, and lasting peace and stability to the friendly people of Ukraine.”
