Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to President of Oriental Republic of Uruguay, Yamandú Orsi, on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day. The message reads:

“On behalf of the Armenian people and personally myself, I heartily congratulate the Oriental Republic of Uruguay on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day, conveying wishes of peace and prosperity to friendly Uruguay and the Uruguayan people.
We highly appreciate the friendly relations between our two states, which are based on mutual respect, trust and common values. The nature and content of these relations are evidenced by the close political dialogue and high-level mutual visits, which allow us to outline the ways of further development of cooperation between our countries in all areas of mutual interest.

Taking this opportunity, I reiterate my invitation to pay an official visit to Armenia at a time convenient for you.”
