Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chien on the occasion of Independence Day. The message reads:

“Your Excellency,

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and personally on my own behalf, I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the the national holiday, the 80th anniversary of the Independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

I am pleased to note that in recent years, the partnership between Armenia and Vietnam has made significant progress, including through the intensification of political dialogue and mutual visits, the development of trade and economic ties, and the development of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

I am confident that through joint efforts we will promote high-level political dialogue between our two countries, which will contribute to the further expansion and strengthening of cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.

I reiterate my invitation to visit Armenia at a time convenient for you, which will provide a good opportunity to advance the bilateral agenda.
