Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of Independence Day. The message reads:

“Your Excellency,

I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Tajikistan on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Tajikistan, Independence Day.

The period following the declaration of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was full of consistent reforms promoted by you aimed at strengthening statehood and establishing socio-economic development of the country and public solidarity.

I am convinced that the friendship of our peoples and strong traditions of mutual respect will continue to contribute to the deepening of cooperation between the two states in the future.

I sincerely hope that we will have an opportunity to discuss the agenda issues of Armenia-Tajikistan interstate relations within the framework of the multilateral events planned in Dushanbe.

Taking this opportunity, I wish you good health and new success in your activities for the benefit of the well-being and peace of the friendly people of Tajikistan."
