Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz on the national holiday, Unity Day. The congratulatory message reads:

“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Germany on the national holiday of the Federal Republic of Germany, Unity Day. This memorable day is an important occasion to once again appreciate Germany’s success and achievements, its unwavering commitment to democratic values and human rights.

Armenia greatly values the friendly relations and effective cooperation established with Germany both at the bilateral level and in multilateral formats.

I warmly recall my meeting with you this spring on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit. I am confident that through joint efforts we will continue to expand multifaceted cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.

We highly appreciate Germany’s continued support for Armenia’s democratic reforms, sustainable development, and the further deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership.
