Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of the “Civil Contract” party in the 2026 parliamentary elections.

“I congratulate Nikol Pashinyan and his party on their victory in the elections. The Armenian people have chosen democracy, stability and a future closer to Europe.

Spain will continue to support Armenia on its path to peace and in its process of rapprochement with the European Union.”
