President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi congratulated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his election victory in Armenia. The message reads:

“I am pleased to convey to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations on the victory of your party in the parliamentary elections. This victory reflects the trust of the friendly Armenian people in your leadership and your vision, moving forward to realize their aspirations for development, stability and prosperity. I wish Your Excellency continued success in leading the friendly Republic of Armenia to further progress and prosperity.

Taking this opportunity, I reaffirm that Egypt is proud of the deep-rooted historical relations and special bonds of friendship that unite our two countries. We are committed to continuing our joint efforts to enhance the level of bilateral cooperation in various fields and to develop the growing positive dynamics in relations for the benefit of our two friendly peoples. I recall with great pleasure my visit to your friendly country in January 2023, the results of which reflected the joint political will of our two peoples to strengthen our partnership and open up new horizons of cooperation in various fields. I also recall with gratitude your visit to Egypt in March 2024, which was an important opportunity to follow the progress achieved in the field of bilateral cooperation and coordination on regional and international issues of common interest. In this regard, I would like to appreciate the important role of the Armenian community in Egypt as a cultural and human bridge connecting our two friendly peoples.
