Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of Independence Day. The message reads:

“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Tajikistan on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Tajikistan, Independence Day.

The consistent steps taken under your leadership are of great importance in strengthening the statehood of Tajikistan, the economic development of the country and increasing the well-being of its citizens.

I am confident that the friendship and strong traditions of mutual respect between the Armenian and Tajik peoples will continue to contribute to the consistent promotion of cooperation between the two states and the consolidation of efforts for the development of high-level political dialogue and the enrichment of bilateral cooperation with promising projects in the economic, cultural-humanitarian, scientific and educational spheres.
