Prime Minister Pashinyan gets acquainted with the programs implemented in Armavir region

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Armavir region and got acquainted with the implemented programs.

The Prime Minister’s first stop was at Kindergarten No. 6 “Arevik” in the Echmiadzin settlement of Vagharshapat community. As a result of the implementation of the subsidy program, the kindergarten building was renovated, as well as construction work on a new three-story building was carried out. The total cost of construction work amounted to 734 million drams, of which more than 513 million drams was allocated by the Government. 294 children attend the kindergarten.

Next, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the renovation works of the secondary school in the Metsamor settlement of the Araks community. As a result of the implementation of the program, the settlement has a renovated school designed for 188 students. The Government has allocated more than 190 million drams for the program.

In the Vagharshapat community, Nikol Pashinyan was presented with the gas supply works carried out in the Lernamerdz settlement. Within the framework of the program, 2927.7 linear meters and 3047.4 linear meters of gas pipelines were built, for which the Government allocated 21 million 956 thousand drams and 45 million 960 thousand drams, respectively.

The next stop of the Prime MInister was at the kindergarten in the Haytagh settlement, where he got acquainted with the reconstruction works of 540 square meters and the construction of a one-story annex building implemented under the subvention program. The kindergarten is attended by 90 children. The cost of the project is 233 million drams, 70% of which, more than 163 million drams, was allocated from the state budget.

In the Metsamor community, Nikol Pashinyan got acquainted with the works on the major renovation of kindergarten No. 3 and the improvement of the adjacent territory, which were implemented within the framework of the subvention program. 252 children attend the kindergarten. The total cost of the project is more than 514 million drams, the Government's share is 360 million drams.

Prime Minister Pashinyan was presented with the works on the repair of the 0.8 km section of the T-3-8 /M-5/ - Mayisyan /T-3-47/ regional /local/ road in the Armavir community. The government has allocated 85 million drams for the program.

The Prime Minister got acquainted with the renovation works carried out at the secondary school named after H. Kochar in Alashkert. The school was renovated within the framework of the “300 schools under construction, major renovation or reconstruction by 2026” program, for which the Government has allocated 396 million 390 thousand drams. The renovated school in Alashkert is designed for 263 students.

Then Nikol Pashinyan visited Kindergarten No. 2 in the city of Armavir. The kindergarten building was reconstructed under the subsidy program. The preschool is designed for 65 children. The total cost of the program amounted to more than 281 million drams, of which 70%, 197 million drams, was allocated by the Government.

The Prime MInister was presented with the renovation works at the primary school No. 2 named after V. Bakhshyan in Armavir. The school has been included in the list of the Government's "300 Schools to be Built, Renovated or Reconstructed by 2026" program. The Government has allocated 272 million 270 thousand drams for the implementation of the program. The renovated school in the Armavir settlement is designed for 607 students.

In Baghramyan community, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the investment program for the establishment of a 311-hectare walnut orchard. It was noted that so far 45,000 seedlings have been planted, and their number is planned to be increased to 90 thousand. The total cost of the investment program is more than 5 billion drams. Within the framework of the government's 2023-2025 state support program for the development of intensive horticulture, the introduction of modern technologies and the promotion of the production of non-traditional high-value crops, the company was compensated with more than 76 million drams for the construction of a water basin. The main owner of the company's shares is the "Green Invest" non-public contractual investment fund, one of the main investors of which is the "Capitalgate Fund Limited" international investment company.

Nikol Pashinyan also got acquainted with the investment program for the establishment of a 182.74-hectare intensive peach and nectarine orchard in Baghramyan. Within its framework, 344,520 seedlings were planted. The total cost of the project is more than 7 billion drams. “Family Garden” LLC, which is implementing the investment program, received more than 187 million drams in compensation within the framework of the “Infrastructure for Investments” program of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Within the framework of the state support program for the development of intensive horticulture in the Republic of Armenia, the introduction of modern technologies and the promotion of the production of non-traditional high-value crops, a full loan interest subsidy is being implemented, which is 14%.

The heads of the above-mentioned companies expressed gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Armenia for the support provided in promoting business and implementing new investment programs and for introducing the necessary tools to promote intensive horticulture.
