Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in the Islamic Republic of Iran on a working visit.
Iran's Vice President Davoud Manzour welcomed Prime Minister Pashinyan at Mehrabad Airport.
In Tehran, Prime Minister Pashinyan will participate in the official ceremony of paying homage to the President of the Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian and their companions and offering condolences.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a meeting with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran.
The Prime Minister expressed his condolences on the death of President of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Hossein Abdollahian and their accompanying persons. Nikol Pashinyan noted that he has warm memories of the contacts with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and noted that the Republic of Armenia and its people are standing by the good friend and neighbor state and people during this difficult period for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Seyyed Ali Khamenei thanked the Prime Minister for visiting and participating in the tribute event during this difficult time for Iran.
The interlocutors expressed belief that Armenia and Iran will continue the steps aimed at the development and expansion of warm and friendly relations for the benefit of the progress of both states and peoples.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Tehran, had a meeting with Iran's Acting President Mohammad Mokhber.
Prime Minister Pashinyan, on behalf of himself and the Armenian delegation, expressed deep condolences to the acting president of Iran, the vice presidents, members of the government and the entire people of Iran.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the death of Ebrahim Raisi and Hossein Amir Abdollahian is a tragedy, and Armenia and the Armenian people grieve and share the pain of the entire people of friendly Iran.
Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that he and Ebrahim Raisi had not only partnership, but also warm friendly ties, which was reflected on the Armenia-Iran relations. The Prime Minister expressed hope that the plans outlined with Ebrahim Raisi, as well as the positive trend of relations between the two countries, will continue.
Acting President of Iran noted that the presence of the Prime Minister of Armenia gives them heart and strength in these difficult days. According to him, the disaster has shocked the entire people of Iran and they deeply appreciate that friendly Armenia shares their grief today.
Mohammad Mokhber assured that all the programs outlined by the Armenian Prime Minister with Ebrahim Raisi, which are aimed at the development of Armenia-Iran relations, will be continuous.
