The Prime Minister noted that Armenia currently has close cooperation with the European Union. “But on the other hand, we have no task of cutting our relations with Russia, since we pursue a balanced and balancing foreign policy, and that is our strategy,” the Prime Minister said.
At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan stressed that the development of democracy is of strategic importance for the Government of Armenia and attached importance to the EU’s consistent and continuous support in this regard.
The Prime Minister noted that Armenia’s goal is to establish stable and lasting peace in our region together with regional countries.
"And you know that this year we were able to conclude negotiations with Azerbaijan on the peace agreement between our countries with positive results. That is, that draft has been agreed upon bilaterally, and now it is time to sign the peace agreement. We are currently in the process of consultations with Azerbaijan to reach that point and sign the peace agreement," said Nikol Pashinyan.
