Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, participated in the solemn ceremony of signing the Charter of the “Board of Peace” as a founding member in Davos, within the framework of the World Economic Forum.

The event was also attended by President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan.

The Heads of Delegations of Armenia, the United States, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Morocco, Pakistan, Qatar, Paraguay, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UAE, Uzbekistan and Israel participated in the signing ceremony.

During the ceremony, the representatives of the countries signed the Charter of the “Board of Peace” in the presence of the US President. In his speech, Donald Trump expressed his gratitude for joining the initiative and participating in the ceremony.

During his brief visit to Davos, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan held meetings with international partners and representatives of the technology sector.

In particular, the Prime Minister discussed opportunities for cooperation with Oliver Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell Technologies, and businessman Noubar Afeyan.

During the meetings, the developments taking place in the high-tech sector in our country, existing opportunities, prospects for program implementation, as well as Armenia's economic development priorities and reforms being implemented to improve the investment climate were discussed.
