Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Armenia Vincenzo del Monaco.

Stressing the need for continued development of Armenian-Italian relations, the Prime Minister said his government keen to take all necessary steps to that effect. Nikol Pashinyan made a point of intensifying relations between the two countries in different areas - political, economic and cultural.

The Italian Ambassador expressed confidence that the joint efforts may give new impetus to the ongoing bilateral cooperation, which in turn will help expand and deepen trade exchanges. Vincenzo del Monaco said many Italian companies are interested in implementing investment projects in our country in the fields of industry, infrastructure development and energy.

In terms of promoting the Armenian-Italian partnership, the parties attached importance to reciprocated high-level visits.
