PM receives Czech Ambassador to Armenia

Prime Minster Nikol Pashinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Petr Mikyska.

Highlighting the development of Armenian-Czech relations, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral political cooperation. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan stressed the need for boosting and expanding relations in the economic sphere. Noting that the Government is keen to attract Czech businesses into Armenia, the Premier assured that his government abides by the path of real changes that will help protect investments.

Petr Mikyska welcomed the reforms being implemented in different spheres and highlighted that the Czech Republic is prepared to back the Armenian Government in order to materialize its priorities. The Ambassador informed that different Czech companies are interested in implementing investment projects in Armenia.

Thanking the Czech side for readiness to support the new government of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan referred to the development of EU-Armenia relations, Nagorno- Karabakh conflict settlement and other issues of mutual interest.
