Development of Armenia-Egypt relations discussed

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia Tarek Ibrahim Mohammad Maati.

Hailing the current level of Armenian-Egyptian political relations, the Prime Minister attached great importance to the development and expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that his government is keen to strengthen trade and economic ties and attract Egyptian capital into Armenia’s economy. The Prime Minister stressed that the Government guarantees the security of any investment project implemented within the framework of the applicable law. Ambassador Maati evoked the centuries-old Armenian-Egyptian relations and expressed confidence that they would continue to develop and strengthen ahead.

The interlocutors stressed the need for reciprocated high-level visits and discussions of projects high on the Armenian-Egyptian agenda for their effective resolution and implementation of new joint programs.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Pashinyan conveyed greetings to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
