PM votes at polling station 8/16 in Yerevan

23.09.2018

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today called at polling station No. 8/16 in Yerevan with his daughter and voted in the election to the Council of Elders of Yerevan. After the vote, answering journalists’ questions, the Prime Minister said, “These elections will be different since the citizens are confident that their vote will not be rigged and stolen. Should there be falsifiers, they will be reported to the police.”

In Pashinyan’s words, during this electoral campaign all parties realized that they had to struggle for each single vote. “In any democratic country, electoral passions are in full swing during the campaign, and I think that from now on electoral campaigns in Armenia will be full of passion, because we will have real elections. We need to get used to real elections and real campaigns,” the Premier said.
