PM leads procession dedicated to March 1, 2008 victims

Led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a march was held today on the anniversary of the events that took place in Yerevan on March 1, 2008. The march, which was also attended by the Prime Minister’s spouse, Anna Hakobyan, and his daughter, started from Freedom Square in Yerevan, went along Mashtots Avenue, Grigor Lusavorich Street and ended at the monument to Alexander Myasnikyan. Prime Minister Pashinyan laid a wreath at the monument and honored the victims’ memory.

Earlier today, in his message delivered on the occasion of March 1, 2008, Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted the commemoration of March 1 events, noting: “With this procession we will pay tribute to the victims of March 1 and political killings; we will oppose a decisive NO to violence, injustice, illegality, corruption, electoral frauds and human rights violations.”
