Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Armenian General Athletic Union’s delegation, led by AGAU Central Board Chairman Garnik Mkrtchyan.
Highly appreciative of the role played by the AGAU in promoting the Armenian identity, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister expressed readiness to discuss possibilities for implementing AGAU’s initiatives.
Garnik Mkrtchyan presented the program of AGAU’s upcoming activities to be held in Armenia and in the Diaspora. The AGAU’s Youth Congress will be held in Athens on May 10-11, which will bring together representatives from different countries of the world.
The meeting discussed issues and initiatives aimed at promoting the scout movement in Armenia, especially in marz communities.
