PM receives Armenian Missionary Association of America’s executive director

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Zaven Khanjian, Executive Director of the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA). Newly appointed Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan attended the meeting.

The Prime Minister expressed high appreciation of AMAA’s activities in the United States and in Armenia. Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that the programs of the Armenian Missionary Association will continue to expand and develop in Armenia.

Zaven Khanjian noted that the association intends to give new impetus to economic, social and educational programs implemented at home, adding that inspired by the processes taking place in Armenia, they stand ready to do their utmost for the sake of preserving the Armenian identity and developing Armenia.

Mr. Khanjian welcomed the Prime Minister’s decision to appoint Zareh Sinanyan to the post of Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and expressed confidence that he would go a long way towards strengthening interaction between Armenia and the Diaspora.

Taking the opportunity, Zaven Khanjian briefed the Premier on AMAA’s ongoing activities and upcoming programs.
