Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today attended the opening of the Francophonie Park and the Family Sports Complex in Masis, Ararat Marz. The park and the sports complex were built with the support of Masis Development Fund and AFFA (Adibekyan Family Foundation for Advancement) charity organization.

The Premier toured the premises and congratulated the residents of Masis on the opening of a modern park and sports complex in their city. The Family Sports Complex complies with international standards. It features a mini-football hall, two basketball courts, a children’s playground and an area equipped with sports equipment for yard workouts.

The Prime Minister signed the ball with which the first futsal tournament, the final of the Francophony Cup, was being played at the local stadium. “Masis College” and “Marmarashen” teams challenged the Cup final.

The Masis Development Fund and AFFA are implementing long-term and large-scale projects, such as the introduction of an in-depth French language teaching program at Masis schools, the establishment of a youth center aimed at developing the skills of self-government authorities and the initiative of young people, as well as the project of a Tumo creative technology center.
