Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today paid a working visit to Gyumri. Accompanied by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Suren Papikyan, Shirak Marz Governor Tigran Petrosyan and Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan, the Prime Minister walked down the streets of Tigran Mets and Sayat-Nova to get acquainted with the ongoing repair work. The streets were landscaped with funds available from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Greeting the Prime Minister, the residents of Gyumri thanked him for the attention paid to their town. The Premier told those responsible to resolve the outstanding technical issues at short notice, observing the required quality standards.
Then Prime Minister Pashinyan attended a ceremony of presenting Arda Charitable Foundation-funded social apartments to homeless families. 18 apartments were given to single elderly people who used to live in temporary shelters. The Head of Government thanked the Foundation for continued support of needy families. Nikol Pashinyan toured the building congratulating the beneficiaries on the New Year and Christmas Day.
