Chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Government continued to explore ways of addressing the COVID-19-caused socio-economic problems. Possibilities for stimulating the production of farm products and introducing new farm support tools were discussed and recommendations were made during the meeting.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of assessing the efficiency and market demand of those instruments used so far. Nikol Pashinyan instructed the Ministry of Economy to submit a proposal on the steps to take ahead, taking into account the ideas and recommendations voiced with regard to previous programs.

The Premier once again highlighted the Government’s steps to promote investment programs, noting that an operational mechanism needs to be implemented in order to respond to investment proposals.

With reference to the ongoing social assistance programs, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that the relevant departments should ensure that all beneficiaries receive the assistance as soon as possible.
