Chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a regular meeting was held in the Office of Government to discuss the programs aimed at countering the coronavirus-caused pandemic’s socioeconomic impact.
The Prime Minister was briefed on the current status of the economic and social assistance programs approved by the government. The responsible officials reported back the findings of their daily monitoring and the indicators that prove the positive dynamics of the ongoing activities.
New applications are coming in and processed: any emerging technical problem is being quickly resolved. Most of the loan resources envisaged under some programs have already been provided, which indicates the effective implementation of these programs.
Nikol Pashinyan instructed to continue monitoring the implementation of measures and ensure regular operational response. New ideas and proposals for economic assistance were presented. In particular, issues related to incentives for start-ups with educational components, as well as the expansion of enterprise support through tax and credit instruments were discussed during the meeting. A number of suggestions and comments were presented.
Following the discussion, the Prime Minister instructed to continue work on finalizing the proposals.
