Work on preventing the spread of coronavirus infection discussed in Government

The Commission for Coordination of Activities to Prevent the Spread of Coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia met today in the Office of Government, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The Commission discussed statistics of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia, current situation and general trends. Issues of preventing the spread of COVID-19 and monitoring compliance with the Commandant’s Office-prescribed rules were discussed during the meeting.

There was an interesting exchange of views on preventive measures. The need for citizens to wear protective masks and to widely inform the public was emphasized in this context.

At the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan issued relevant instructions.
