11.08.2021

President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of being appointed Prime Minister of Armenia. The message reads as follows,

‘’Dear Mr. Prime Minister,

Please accept my congratulations on your re-election as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and wishes for every success in assuming this honorable position.

In a difficult situation when security in the region is at stake, maintaining peace is extremely important, as well as the continuation of the democratic reforms initiated by your government. In this process, it is important to underline the implementation of intensive actions aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation with the European Union, based on the Comprehensive Extended Partnership Agreement (CEPA), as well as the Eastern Partnership programs. These toolkits provide ample opportunities for establishing political and economic relations with both the European community as a single entity, and separate EU Member States, including Poland.

The Republic of Poland and the Republic of Armenia are united by centuries-old friendship and cooperation. I am confident that our relations will continue to develop and strengthen.

I wish you success, as well as look forward to our meeting at a convenient time''.
